Punxsutawney Phil Sees His Shadow

PUNXSUTAWNEY, PENN. (Feb 2, 2005) -- "Phil's a shadowy character," one sign read in the wee hours of this chilly Groundhog Day morning in the weather capital of the world, Punxsutawney, Penn. At approximately 7:30 AM, Punxsutawney Phil, the seer of seers, the prognosticator of prognosticators, Punxsutawney's very own groundhog meteorologist, emerged from his stump at Gobbler's Knob for the 119th time and, speaking in plain groundhogese to the Inner Circle, proclaimed that he had seen his shadow, meaning that we shall endure six more weeks of winter.
