Meat-filled and meat-flavored crispy fried mush from Pennsylvania Dutch cookery.
Yum! Doesn't that sound great!?!

A New Segment

I'm starting a new segment on the blog. It's called Recipe of the Week. Every week, or whenever I feel like it, I will feature a new recipe- one that I hope will be used for one of the next LOG dinners. Enjoy!

But where'd the print come from?

I bought it...at a poster sale.

Whoa. Hold on to your

RFID news

hats everyone. My informant over at the LOGblog Blog just informed me (becuase that's what informants do) about this new technology called radio frequency identification. Also called RFID for short, this new radio tracking technology enables the user to track assets along the supply chain. Delta is using it to track bags (and airplanes maybe too :) haha). This introduction article for beginners is titled RFID 101. It's a good read for people who want to know more about RFID. It's kind of like an RFID beginner's guide.

would you rather

...talk like yoda or breathe like darth vador for the rest of your life

....find true love or one millon dollars

...always have to say everything on yoru mind or never be able to speak again

...kiss a jellyfish or step on crab

just some things to think about

Ken won again tonight on Jeopardy!, for the 35th straight night.  Our house is sharply divided:  some of us love him, some of us hate him.  I love him!  Your thoughts, please.

Pull yourselves together

Ok loggers......i know many of us are tiring of the log blog and that it may not be as exciting or bearable as it has been in the past, but this lack of posting and enthusiasm must come to an end....we need this blog more than we know......especially in london and mexico and LA and a farley hall that we know will be lacking......so give the blog all you have got even if it kills you....and in an effort to persuade you to do just this i have mustered all my computer literacy that i can to successfully upload desired pictures on my nd webspace just for yall! enjoy! Bzz? BZZZ!!

woot woot

this post is titled as such because it is the only way to illustrate what a great mood i am in. why this great mood you might ask? here are the reasons why:
1)this weekend i taught a group of people how to play kings and learned how to love margaritas with salt (alhtough we left out never have i ever which i think is really what makes a game of kings worthwhile but meh)

2) Jimbot, Johnbot, and Na-Na all called me this weekend and made it ever so special

3) My brother, Lietenant Dave, is coming home in less than a day and at midnight tommorrow i will be holding home-made signs at the houston international airport and seeing him for the first time in a whole year!

So as you can see, since my summer had a huge turnaround beginning with and because of the 303 Ft Worth Rendezvous, I am having a great time and i just wanted to share it with my loggers. I recognize that these tye of happy, whimsical, and love for LOG type posts are the exact cause of the resignation of one our founding officers, but i just couldnt resist. Love yall! MAAAAAAAAA!

Which is the better version of "Walking in Memphis"  The original by Marc Cohn, or the Boss's rendition?

Pictures from Canadian vacation.

Jack Rabbits

Tanks a million for the postcard, it made my week.  I watched the LOGumentary the other night, and enjoyed it tremendously.

An observation

If your friend is already dead, and being eaten by vultures, I think it's okay to feed some bits of your friend to one of the vultures, to teach him to do some tricks. But only if you're serious about adopting the vulture.
