College Football

Today marks college football's 135th birthday. It was on this date in 1869 that Rutgers defeated Princeton 6-4 in the very first college football game (see photo below). Today is also a very special milestone for me, as I will be attending the Washington State vs. UCLA football game at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. It will be my 150th college football game. Go Bruins!

last night was definitely a night where i needed people to roll around in the grass with me but no one would come... :( maybe on the way back

It's All Johnny's Fault

Ohio sucksIt was bad enough that Bush defeated Kerry by a single vote in the state of Ohio. But now I have caught wind of a nasty and true rumor that our good friend from that very state (not to be confused with Andy) failed to vote in this year's presidential election. Johnny, I'm gonna be honest with you on this one: it's all your fault! How could you? I recognize and hope that this will not happen, but should the draft be implemented in the next four years, I will do everything in my power to make sure that Johnny is the first to go.

yay for fridays

can i borrow yalls library cards....cuz i want to check yall out!

(oh yeah thats the newest pickup line from Ken!!!)

Turtle Racing

Well everyone, last night was Thursday night, so you all know what that means. Yes, of course - turtle racing at Brennan's Pub in Marina Del Rey. After a rowdy round of Irish carbombs, my crew and I decided to check things out at Brennan's Downs.

cowboy up

cowboy up! oh yeah after watchiing 8 seconds i have decided i am moving off to farm and going to marry a huge cowboy and have lots of kids and lead a readiculously idealistic and impossibly simple life!!!!!!

if log was a monogomous relationship i think we all just pretty much deserved getting dumped because not a sole surviving member of log seems to have remembered our anniversary. so i am and am wishing everyone a happy 9 months!!!!!! woot woot.
Also, i am starting to realize that i am gonna have to celebrate the big 21 without you guys and it makes me sad. i guess i will just have to get really rowdy and pretend you are here and then when i come home we can all go to state topgether! woohoo! ok bye

Rich Purged from LOGblog

I was just talking to Debbie online earlier today about Rich, which reminded me that I needed to delete his LOGblog account. (Note that our AIM handles have been changed to our first names to protect our identities.)

Debbie (2:56:00 PM): rich just brought me an ice tea
Debbie (2:56:02 PM): i love that guy
Jimbo (2:57:33 PM): he's okay
Jimbo (2:58:01 PM): he's no jimbo.
Jimbo (2:58:08 PM): and he's certainly no andy hagans.
Jimbo (3:00:06 PM): :-P
Debbie (3:00:13 PM): well hes no jimbo
Debbie (3:00:20 PM): i do love rich though
Jimbo (3:00:25 PM): well, that makes one of us.
Debbie (3:00:26 PM): he was my roomate before you sadly
Debbie (3:00:34 PM): i will always stand up for rich
Jimbo (3:00:38 PM): good.
Jimbo (3:00:44 PM): which reminds me, i need to delete his account.
Debbie (3:00:59 PM): yeah he kinda sucked at the blog

Also, after a careful tally of the BRN Tribunal's survey from last week, it has been decided that no one will replace Rich on LOGblog. Let the record show that the only remaining human members of LOGblog are now Jimmy Atkinson, Natalie Cal, Michael Johnny Johnston, Holly Pavlick, and Debbie Scrafford.

October Groundhog of the Month

Johnny, congratulations.
